Dismissing a manager with many years of experience in a company is not easy for the employer, but it is always much more difficult for the employee who is dismissed. After years of working for one organisation, he or she is lost emotionally, professionally as well as organisationally.

This person usually doesn’t know where to start in order to find a new job. Or after a good start with a few actions, he or she lacks the ideas for further steps and has no confidence to seek help in this area.

In such situations, the ideal solution offered by the existing employer is actually the Outplacement program. It eases the process of being redundant and sends a clear message: “You are not alone, you have our support, and we will help you through this”. It also shows other employees that the company approaches even dismissed employees with a great deal of respect and support.

When we prepare Outplacement programmes, we ‘tailor them’ according to the needs and possibilities of the specific situation, but each programme we run will allow the redundant employee to take a fresh look at his or her competencies, as well as to revise his or her profile for a completely different challenge or to take a big step forward.
